In this webinar, Dr. Arne Henden, operator of AAVSOnet's BSM_NH, discusses "Science with the AAVSOnet Faint Star Monitors." The AAVSOnet robotic telescope network has four 60cm-class telescope "Faint Star Monitors (FSMs)" that are time-shared with their host institutions. These telescopes are often in pristine locations with large CCD/CMOS cameras. As with all of the AAVSOnet telescopes, observing time on the FSMs is freely available to members through a simple proposal form. This talk briefly describes the telescopes and sites, and then give some broad ideas as to the kinds of observations that can be made with these marvelous systems.
