On June 15th, 2017, we hosted the first of our small business panel series as a follow-up to our NYC's Economic Engine: Contributions & Challenges of Asian Small Businesses report that we released in December of 2016.
The Starting & Growing Your Business panel featured small business owners Jason Wang of Xi'an Famous Foods, Benny Wong of Timehop, and Bihari Lall of @HLK Diner, who talked about how they came into their businesses, including accessing capital and government-based small business support services, and the challenges they overcame to grow their businesses.
