fmnut | A&A First Revenue Load PC Version @fmnut | Uploaded 3 years ago | Updated 1 day ago
This is a re-upload of a revised version of my 2015 video. The original contained a few still scenes taken inside the Kutztown foundry while picking up the load. After FIVE YEARS I was contacted today by McConway & Torley requesting (politely) that I remove the stills from the video. I have done so and deleted the original as requested to avoid legal ramifications. So here's to the "eagle eyes" at M&T for spotting this egregious liability issue in such a timely manner. The following is my original description:
On December 8, 2015, the Allentown & Auburn spotted an empty NS gondola at the Kutztown Foundry to be loaded with scrap steel billets. The car was loaded during the following day, and picked up by the A&A crew about 7:30 PM. This represented the first revenue freight load for the fledgling railroad. After some switching moves to run around the load and replace the excursion train at the station, the crew proceeded to Topton where the car was placed on the interchange. A steel road locomotive hauling steel! All in all, a nice birthday and Christmas present combined for yours truly.
