AZX Notation

The A/Z/X atomic notation (also called AZX notation or nuclear symbol notation) is a shorthand way to represent specific isotopes of chemical elements.
It tells you the composition of an atom’s nucleus in terms of protons, neutrons, and mass.
General Format
A = Mass number (total number of protons + neutrons)
Z = Atomic number (number of protons)
X = Chemical symbol of the element
