In 2006, Remy Drabkin began Remy Wines, choosing to grow unusual varietal wines —Sangiovese, Barbera, and Lagrein— from her single vineyard near the location of her winery in downtown McMinnville, Oregon. Though she is a young wine maker, as she explains in the video, she grew up around winemakers, so even at a young age, winemaking was in her future plans.
