Jeff Heron served for many years in Wesleyan ministry, but questions about the nature of Christian authority and what Jesus meant by the Church began to lead him toward the Catholic Faith.
As he was selecting his confirmation saint, Jeff's study of his own denomination's history led him beyond the Wesleyan Church to its roots in Methodism, and Methodism's roots in the Church of England.
And it was there that he discovered the witness of St. John Fisher, who was present at the beginning, giving a martyr's testimony as a bishop executed by Henry VIII for refusing to approve Henry's schism.
