Here's a weird sand bug that I found in the 13w06a Minecraft snapshot. Without the snapshot, the sand doesn't get pushed to the side at all, it stays on top. That's what I was trying to do, but it's not really possible any more. It is not possible to make two-way sand counters any more due to this bug (unless you use two pistons on the side, but then it is not tileable).
