Day 1: Fly into Hobart around midday
- Straight to the Salamanca Markets (only open Saturdays)
- Explore Hobart (Salamanca, Sandy Bay, the Docks)
- Mt Wellington lookout
- Dinner at the Tasmanian Inn (classic pub food)
Day 2:
- Spend the morning strolling around battery point
- Coffee at ‘Leoht’
- Breakfast at ‘Ozus’
- MONA (Museum of Old and New Art)
- Lunch at ‘Happy Larry Deli’ (great sandwiches and fun drinks)
- Spend the afternoon at Port Arthur
Day 3:
- Breakfast at ‘Sisterhood’
- Take the ferry to Bruny Island
- Explore Bruny Island
- The Neck
- Adventure Bay
- Chocolate store
- Cheese store
- Honey store
- Lighthouse
- Dinner back in Hobart at ‘Flipper’s Fish and Chips’
Day 4
- Breakfast at ‘Erda’ (one of my favourites!)
- Roadtrip up the east coast to Bicheno
- Stopped in at Richmond on the way to explore the Bridge, bakery, antique stores and book stores
- Also stopped at a beach
- Arrived at Bicheno and explored the small town
- The Blowhole
- Whaler’s Lookout
- You can also do penguin tours here which I wish we did!
- Dinner at ’The Lobster Shack’ (sooo good!!)
Day 5
- Breakfast at ‘Governor’s’
- Headed to Wineglass Bay. We did the walk to the lookout, as well as the walk down to the beach and it was sooo beautiful!
- Lunch at Cole’s Bay
- Honeymoon Bay
- Dinner at ‘The Lobster Shack’ again lol
Day 6:
- Breakfast at ‘Peggy’s’
- Drive to Launceston
- Lunch at ‘Bread + Butter’ (highly recommend)
- Explore Cataract Gorge + go on the chairlift!!
- We had dinner at the ‘Plough Inn’ (classic pub meal)
Day 7:
- Breakfast at ‘Frankies Coffee House’ (so cute!!)
- Drive to Cradle Mountain
- Purchase park pass and shuttle bus tickets
- Dove Lake walk (2 hours - amazing!!)
- We also wanted to do the Enchanted Walk and Ronny Creek but weather was too bad!
Day 8:
- Check out of airbnb and drive back to Hobart
- Salamanca Markets (again)
- Fly home at midday!
