A Walk In The Country

Hello my friends 👋🏼
I try and vary my content, but this is vastly different.
On an icy Saturday morning I decided to leave the bikes at home and take a walk in the countryside. Not only that but I filmed the event. Plenty of waffle along the way as you might expect, and perhaps a comedy moment or two. You could see it as a way of getting to know me a bit better.
The walk starts just outside Launceston, Cornwall (Lanson to the locals). After taking in a gateway view looking across to Cheesewring and Caradon Hill, I walk the lanes down to the very pretty Lowley Bridge. Then it’s a bit of off road and I try making friends with a Lama. I didn’t realise Lama’s were so rude, and it had no interest in me whatsoever. Then I realised there were many in an adjoining field. I wonder if the one I had been talking to had misbehaved and was in solitary confinement, or if he had simply escaped.
Then I went through a field of fluffy pigs. They were numbered but, sadly no 73’. After crossing the A388 it was back into the fields and a quick stop to strip off and have a little snack.
Moving on I break some ice with my beetle crushers before spotting some brown cattle. And then it was back into the lanes where I encounter tractors and locals before crossing the A388 again at Tregada, and showing where I filmed a clip for my regular intro on the Royal Enfield Himalayan.
Finally I end the video in the same gateway that it began. I know there was a lot of silliness, but I’m trying hard not to grow up.
This was also a bit of an experiment, as I have considered starting another channel to cover the walks with Twinks along the South West coast path, as well as other walks in the countryside. Not sure where I would find the time, but I might persue it further.
