This video has been done for a while now, I’ve just been fixing up little things in it over the past month and half and I think it’s finally ready to be uploaded :’) PLUS, today is the day the last Dark Tower book was published back in 2004 (AND it’s Stephen King’s birthday!) and I thought it would be the perfect day!
Let’s begin our journey to the Tower, shall we? (Sorry for any grammar/spelling errors in advanced! :) )
I really don’t know what to say about this project other than the fact that is has taken over my life for the past several months! I’ve work SO hard on this video even thought it doesn’t seem like it lol. I’ve spent hours upon hours going through footage, making sure everything is perfect. I’ve put such a big part of my heart and soul into this video!
It’s crazy that this took so long and it feels so surreal since Jake Chambers is my favorite Stephen King character. Andddd the fact that The Dark Tower is my all time favorite book series and this video is an attempt to fix the the movie with my own little twist to it!
This video is an AU based on the third book of the Dark Tower book series (The Waste Lands). True Constant Readers will know what part ;) I will not write spoilers in this description, but you can find a not so thorough explanation (WITH SPOILERS) of this video in the comments! Aka explaining the scene choices and the part of the book I was trying to bring to life!
I would like to give a VERY big shout out to Alesia. Without her I would’ve never had the courage to actually make this project! She has put up for so long with me talking about my ideas with this video and talking about Stephen King and the Dark Tower book series in general lol! She has been pushing me and encouraging me for months! She’s always telling me I should vid the crazy ideas I have in my mind (the ones I don’t forget lol) and this is one of them! :D Thank you so much, Alesia! Seriously, thank you!!!!

Wow, where do I start with this video? I have been on this channel for 10 years and vidding for 13 years now! This is a series I consider my first fandom (besides spider-man lol) and it ALSO came out 10 years ago today actually! This video is also a remake of a video I did to this song and fandom 10 years ago too! Neverland means so much to me and brings up so many good memories in my life. It was such a beautiful time in my life and Im so thankful for it! Lol, hi. Long time no see in 5 months. Today is Peters birthday (Destiny Is A Funny Thing)! I wanted to make you something, but didnt know what and Im literally only okay at editing crossovers and I was inspired by these two with a part I made for them in my ypiv and decided to expand (made a lot more manips for ya, what a pain, they look terrible and they took FOREVER, I tried so hard) on it because I figured youd find them interesting since theyre from the Star Wars Expanded Universe (that is sadly no longer canon I think). Wanted to make you something special! Wow, what a run on sentence with so many mistakes.
I dont really ship these two, but theyre so interesting!
Anyway, happy birthday Peter! Once again, haha. I hope you like the video and its been such a pleasure being friends with you these past couple of months! :)
Any who, this could be considered more of an AU if anything because their story doesnt really play out like this. I think I made a clear storyline in the video, but here it is if needed. (Also, her lightsaber is purple, but the coloring turned it red, but oh well I think it fits better).
Storyline:
Mara Jade, also known as the Emperors Hand, is sent out to find and kill Luke Skywalker by Darth Sidious, who is her master that trained her in the Jedi arts). She spies on him and finds him. She eventually captures him and he is sent to be executed, but escapes. Their paths continue to cross and several assassination attempts are made on Luke by Mara. He sees how cruel she can be (its Darth Sidious training on her) and wants to help her, but she continues to push her thoughts about him away (the black and white scenes) and obeys her masters wishes. Luke takes the chance to kill Mara, but she does her whole Jedi teleportation thing to trick him. Later, she appears in his ship and the rest is up to you! Obviously, in the books, they end up together (I love Maras transition from evil to good) and have a kid! Its very cute, but I love evil Mara more :)
