OK.. I have a plan..
My plan this year is to avoid as much of the crazy as possible this holiday season by being prepared (and I think its actually working!) This year we are celebrating with a breakfast with my father in law and then rather than trying to squeeze in lunch, because lets be honest who is ever actually hungry after a big breakfast and nibbles on Christmas day.. we will have a share platter out around lunch time to nibble on and then our big meal of the day will be an amazing Christmas dinner/feast with turkey, ham and all of the trimmings.. where we have opened up our home to all of our friends that don't have any other place to be on the day. So it may just be us.. or it may be a full house, either way there will be loads of food.. plenty of cooking inspo coming your way and by the end of the day we will all no doubt be wearing stretchy pants haha
My thoughts were that this way we can all relax and enjoy the day together without feeling rushed or frazzled, I can enjoy watching the kids open their presents and we can go for a drive to see Baby Jackson without needing to be anywhere at any particular time..
Anyway that's my plan for this year.. what are your plans this Christmas day?
