‘Hoors’ and ‘Half-doors’
Here are a compilation of little verses that I compiled for the new Folklore of Wexford book. They are based on a little verse that I heard growing up via my grandmother and over the years I managed to collect a whole plethora of them from around the country involving ‘hoors’ and half doors and ‘daycent’ people have a look at the video and if you have any more to add to the list fire them in the comments. And if you like the book and what I do, buy a copy and don’t a ‘mane hoor’ looking over half doors.
