Join us, Carol & Ken, as we start a brand new adventure in our Consort Nova Motorhome called Snoopy.
In this series we are hitting up some of our favourite National Trust properties in South East England.
First up is Sheffield Park and Garden. We timed our visit well to see the magnificent waterlilies in all their glory on the ornamental lakes.
We show you around the cricket pitch that famously hosted a fixture against Australia in 1896 that was attended by 25,000 people!
After a tasty spiced cauliflower pasty for lunch we drive on to Rodmell to see Monk’s House, bought by the writer Virgina Woolf and her husband Leonard in 1919.
We show you inside this intimate home where they entertained many like-minded writers and artists.
Next, we head to Seaford seafront for our first night of the trip off-grid and Carol cooks up a one-pan salmon and prawn spaghetti.
