On Friday, February 11, Alan Frew of the iconic Canadian rock band Glass Tiger made a rare appearance at Hamilton's historic Zoetic Theatre to help raise funds to support prostate cancer care and research at St. Joe’s Hospital.
We are grateful to local businessmen Gabe Macaluso, Matteo Sacco and Sergio Girgenti for planning this event in support of our Hospital. Event proceeds and associated donations tallied nearly $60,000 in funds raised that will help to bring MRI Fusion Biopsy technology to our Hospital. This technology supports the early detection and diagnosis of prostate cancer and will complement our leading-edge prostate cancer care, research, and robotic surgery programs.
