Since its official opening on 25 March 1966 by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, Flinders University has been home to big ideas, bold thinking and a community that does things differently.
Over the past six decades, the University has continued to challenge convention and shape future-focused learning, making a distinctive impact across communities.
This milestone marks the beginning of our 60th year of celebrations, with more to come throughout 2026.
