A special virtual experience with a panel discussion featuring Nabate Isles, Chadwick "Niles" Phillips, and Beth Griffith-Manley
Chadwick Boseman was an actor, artist, humanitarian and thespian who touched the world with his spirit. He was mindful of the power of his influence and used it to uplift society. As a man of class, dignity, honor and respect, he left an incredible impact. With him playing historic black icons like Jackie Robinson, James Brown and Thurgood Marshall along with King T'Challa in Black Panther, it showed that he personified the greatness of Black History, our future and legacy through his art.
"A Tribute To Chadwick Boseman" is an event where we pay homage to his the legacy. It will feature a panel discussion with Grammy award winning trumpet player & producer Nabate Isles (NYC), R&B singer from "The Voice" Beth Griffith-Manley (Detroit) and Chadwick "Niles" Phillips (Minneapolis).
They all came together to create a song in honor of Chadwick Boseman called "Super Hero". When they released it, it got rave reviews across the nation. Nabate has family who grew up with Chadwick in his hometown Anderson, SC and Niles has family who were close with him while he lived in NYC. So Chadwick Boseman's impact hits home for the both of them. They will all be discussing the making of the record and the greatness of Chadwick Boseman.
