I'm an American so one would think I wouldn't know about Michael Angelis, but I remember getting the New Friends for Thomas video as a kid and watching it for the first time. Immediately, the loud English accent was quite jarring when I was expecting Baldwin but when I got to the end of the DVD, I quite liked him. And I was confused as to why I never saw him again. That is, until I started watching Thomas on Youtube many years later and realized that the UK had a different dub. Michael had huge shoes to fill after Ringo, but he managed to surpass them in my opinion. Here's a tribute to the longest narrator of Thomas and Friends after learning about his passing.
