Talk about a mucky camera lense! Sorry guys :/
Voices are important, especially if you don't have vocals to help out! Well, apart from Louie's station announcer :P
In this particular video, Edward is 'voiced' by Furness No. 20, and Diesel by a Teddy Bear, or rather a Class 14. In the first case, it's more because of Eddy's Heritage, in the latter because I happened to have the file handy.
The music was a Harmonica piece by a chap called Larry Adler, and seemed to fit the gentle, old and bumbling outlook that is Sodor in my mind.
You'll also notice the snow. One reason for this, and one reason alone. I'm filming my Christmas Special, and wanted to get back into the groove. A variation on my standard Trainspotting format seemed in order and I was happy to get round it by doing this. A simple scene of Edward leaving the station, but filled with those little elements, from the signal rising, to the Guard waving his flag, to the Station Announcer saying where the train is headed.
All from the brief I set myself: "Edward leaves the Station" :P
