This is a 16-inch phonographic disc with a recording on one side; it plays at 33 1/3 RPM. Side one, track one, contains the program "Assignment Wilmington" and the episode "A Toy For Every Child in Wilmington." It first aired on December 9, 1946. It describes the history and functioning of a program to provide a toy to every needy child in Wilmington for Christmas. It includes an interview with the program's treasurer, Mr. Murray Mettin, and dramatic reenactments.
