While we were in Montreal earlier this year, we took a trip to Saint-Bruno and visited Louise Roberts and her husband Patrick at their original shop, Biscotte & Cie. A family run business, Louise and Patrick dye their yarn collections and engage their family members in five (that's right, five) brick and mortar locations: 4 in Quebec and 1 in New Jersey. Louise is also a beautiful designer.

Barb and Cynthia have long loved the Biscotte Bis-sock with it's lovely self-striping colours. We were completely blown away by the number of bases and colours that Louise and Patrick dye. (Patrick is also a renowned and award-winning hot sauce maker).

Come along with us and hear about the yarns, the colours, the bases and the community support that Louise, Patrick and their whole team create every day.

Barb is wearing her version of Capelet Trompe L'oeil, designed by Donna Palicka. You can find it on Ravelry here: ravelry.com/patterns/library/capelet-trompe-loeil
