Tanner Linsley recently shared an experiment called Redact, a custom, AI-shaped projection of React tailored to his specific needs. Because React is such a massive toolbox, he used AI to build a smaller runtime that keeps the familiar React contract like hooks and JSX. While it is not meant to be a public alternative, it shows how AI makes custom implementations faster to build. Watch to see how the economics of dependencies are changing.
