When Mulu fled conflict in the Tigray Region of Ethiopia with her family, she used a jerry-can as a boat to cross the river to Sudan. They arrived at Gedaref refugee camp with almost no possessions.
Conflict and violence has forced more than 60,000 refugees like Mulu to seek safety in Sudan.
The IRC is working with the European Commission to provide support and healthcare to families in the area.
