Q: Smalin doing big band jazz??
A: Thanks for this one go to my wife Christine: she suggested that I do the piece (she's a big fan of big band---and everything 40s, for that matter), and at several points during the development of the animation she told me how to improve it. So this is very much her design.

Q: What do the colors mean?
A: Colors (except for the solos) are assigned according to pitch, in a system I call "harmonic coloring" (since it shows changes in harmonies). You can read more about this here:
