The Count of Monte Cristo (parody version) is about Dash's (Edmund Dante's) best friends betraying her and locking her up for a crime that she didn't commit. In this song, the three 'friends' are scheming behind Dash's back because each of them wants something that Dash has. Twi (Mondego) wants her marefriend Flutters (Mercedes), AJ (Danglars) wants her job, and Rarara (Vilefort) is trying to protect her image and her job by keeping the truth covered up, the truth that Dash knows.
