#NewMusicFriday: There are quite a few new or less well-known songs that I wanted to make a video of, and I asked Darcy if she’d like to try some new materials cos she’s one of those crazily talented people who can handle every song very well. This song is called ‘A Story of My Own’ from the musical The Clockmaker’s Daughter, which premiered at the Landor Theatre in Clapham in 2015. The song is sung by Constance who, after being locked away, laments about wanting to leave the house and explore the world for the first time. I discovered this beautiful song when Elodie did a cover of it. This week last year I had just started working with Darcy on her very first video, which was a duet of ‘Only Us’. She has since taken part in many of our videos and online concerts and I’m so impressed by her talent and enthusiasm. Hope you enjoy Darcy’s first solo video!
Apart from her high quality of singing and acting, you can also enjoy it in 4K definition. Make sure you watch it in the highest definition.
