This conversation brings together PhD researchers, early career academics and external partners to explore how research insights can travel beyond academia to shape policy, practice and public debate.
The first part of the session explores a collaboration between Marta Grabowska (Department of Health Policy, LSE) and her supervisor Professor Mylene Lagarde, and One Day Health, a Uganda based primary healthcare provider operating in underserved and remote areas.
The second part of the session features Dr Sacha Hilhorst (Department of Sociology, LSE), who translated her ethnographic PhD research of post-industrial towns in the Midlands into public facing impact through collaboration with the think tank Commonwealth.
