Spain has 1942 kilometers of bars. Every village, regardless of its population, has a bar, and every day eight million Spaniards go to the pub. You would almost think they do nothing else. When the corona pandemic closed the bars, the hospitality industry suddenly became an important campaign tool in election time: freedom or communism?

In this new series - a sequel to the award winning series 'Letters to Andalusia' Stef Biemans asks questions about the stories that dominated the Spanish news last year.
