This is also part of belles back story.
When belle was little she had a stuffed bunny that her grandmother gave her before she passed away, the bunny used to possess her from time to time because of the spirit that was living inside of it, any one who hurt or was rude to belle would be killed by the spirit while they slept.
She is now in her 20s and she still has the stuffed bunny to this day.
