Paul Barton | “A Sky Full of Dragons” Acrylic Painting by Emilie (9-yrs-old) @PaulBartonPiano | Uploaded July 2024 | Updated October 2024, 6 days ago.
Dad wrote a poem about dragons, which gave me an idea for a painting …
"A Sky Full of Dragons"
In skies of blue and violet hue,
Where stars like golden embers strew,
On summer's eve, a sight to see,
Dragons dance in revelry.
With wings outspread, they take to flight,
Beneath the moon's ethereal light,
Their scales aglow, a shimmering sight,
As day gives way to summer night.
Through fields of stars, they twist and turn,
Their fiery breath, a radiant burn,
In celebration, wild and free,
Of summer's magic, yet to be.
From dusk till dawn, their dance unfolds,
A tale in colors, yet untold,
Of creatures grand, in joyous flight,
Beneath a sky of blue and violet night.
