...So this is awkward. The initial plan was for this to both be the last Halloween-related remix this month *and* coincide with the release of Mina the Hollower the same day! Problem is, Yacht Club Games delayed it for polishing, so now this very specific plan I had got shot in the foot... I ultimately opted to have it as the final Halloween remix, because at the time I'm uploading this there's no indication as to when Mina will release other than "soon™".

I went with the Game Boy sound chip for this remix for a very specific reason - while the game definitely looks like something you'd see on the Game Boy Color, the actual music was made for the MSX+SCC sound chip instead. This isn't to downplay the music talent of Jake Kaufman, as I love everything I've heard of this soundtrack, but considering Virt has worked on actual Game Boy games before it really made me wonder what this game's music would have sounded like on an actual Game Boy. As such, I decided to work on the Blighted Docks* theme. Naturally, this was tricky to do given that, as I've said in the past, Virt is a *beast*. However, I think I pulled it off pretty well, so I may do more of these in the future. I really hope you enjoyed this one!

UPDATE (5.28.26) - The game is out NOW, and with it the official soundtrack. I've updated the title accordingly, though the video still uses "Blighted Docks". You can find the soundtrack here:
