Just after 5 in the afternoon, my girlfriend and I were enjoying the jacuzzi in the common areas of the Four Ambassadors in Miami's Brickell, and the sky started to get really dark, with thunder and lightning. I thought it would pass quickly, so I decided to record it for a bit with my phone out of curiosity.. but suddenly it got much stronger than I expected and a very strong storm fell. I'm not sure if it was a tropical storm or not, but it was quite intense.
I didn't get out because I thought it would be short-lived, but well, it's important to remember that during an electrical storm, it's recommended to get out of the water and seek shelter to be safe.
So, kids, don't do what I did!
