This and the second path are my favorites with the third path being in 2nd place and the first path being in last.
I like the 2nd path for how open it is and for how much it leans into the slaughter and the 3rd path I like for similar reasons. The reason this is tied with the 2nd path though is because the majority of it takes place indoors and as a result feels unique when compared to the other paths on offer.
Sure the combat arenas might not be perfect and the elevator fight concept was taken straight out of Siberian Mayhem but it works really well and shakes things up a bit.
Also I'm partial towards liking Octanian stuff. Croteam definitely cooked with this alien faction and it's nice to see how Time Lock and the community have expanded on it. Octanians & Zorgs are definitely two subfactions in Mental's horde I've always thought had cool concepts behind them and hope these enemies can be used in future Sam games and community projects.
