Chicago artist Rhonda Holy Bear worked on this exceptional sculpture for over 12 years, crafting by hand each tiny and intricate detail.
This deeply personal figure was inspired by Holy Bear’s grandmother, who was born in 1872 and whose father was killed in the Battle of the Little Big Horn.
