This is the quickest method I have found to remove the aluminium cooling fins from the magnetron core.
This method uses a set of wire snips. This makes the cut without any real need to apply force.
Using side cutters also works but is far more tedious and using a saw is too much work and makes too much mess.
This is the preferred Scrapping Scotland method.
I bought the wire cutters off Temu. Nice and cheap and good quality. (This is not a paid promotion)
