I should explain.

2 nights ago, my depression was getting to an all time low. It was keeping me from sleeping and just flat out taking care of myself. So around midnight, I began listening to emotional pieces by Kevin Macleod and they just.. reached out to me. I felt compelled to make my first story AMV with one of these fine instrumentals. I chose At Rest, as it was calming and seemed perfect for how I felt. No need to worry. I am doing fine now. I just needed to get this piece of hard work out anyway to show that I'm not dead.
If you couldn't tell what the story was, here ya go:
There once was a time when Mobius was a peaceful world. Nothing would go wrong and everyone got along. One day, Dr. Robotnik decided to change that. That was when our beloved hero, Sonic the Hedgehog vowed to never let him ruin his peaceful world. On one of these adventures, Sonic saved a little girl named Amy Rose, and they began to have secret feelings for each other. As years passed by, their love became less of a secret, which gave Robotnik, now called Eggman, an interest in Amy. He sent a robot out to capture Amy when Sonic was too busy to stop it. By the time he finally saw, it was too late. Amy was taken away. Tails, following along, asked "Will she be okay?" Sonic, being slightly hurt but confident, replied "I'll make sure she is." Amy was confined to a jail cell, where she sat in wait for her hero, whom she knew would come. Sonic, with the help of Tails, took the Tornado up to the Egg Fleet for a confrontation and, of course, a rescue attempt. Eggman was waiting for them, ready with an army of robots. Sonic, filled with a rage too strong to imagine, began to punch the robots. However, they outnumbered him by a longshot. Sonic told Tails to get away, leaving him confused. When Sonic was brought to the floor, he finally left to find Amy. Eggman told the robots to back off for a moment, just so he could bask in his glory for beating Sonic after all of this time. Sonic, barely holding any strength, got to his knees, shaking and crying. "How? How could you do this? Is this what gets you out of bed in the morning? I swear, I will get you back for this! YOU WILL NOT GET AWAY FROM ME!!!" Sonic then lets out a loud scream, as he turns into Dark Sonic. With his new power, he obliterates the robots. Eggman, seeing Sonic enraged, makes a run for it. When Sonic notices, he strikes the sides of the building, making an aura around him. This causes the Egg Fleet to explode into pieces. Tails finds Sonic unconscious on the beach. He brings him to Cream's house so Vanilla can help him recover. However, when Tails returns in the morning, Sonic is gone and the window is open. Sonic is running around, looking for his love and yelling out her name. Finally, it begins to rain as he sees the rubble from the Egg Fleet. Digging through the broken bits of metal, he finally uncovers the pink hedgehog. He checks for a pulse, but there is nothing. He finally breaks down, with tears and rain pouring down his face. He had failed to keep her safe. Doing the thing he does best, he carries her lifeless corpse to the graveyard to give her a proper burial. When it's all said and done, he goes to her house, where they confessed their love, and grabs the pink rose he gave her. It was still full of life. He laid it on top of her grave, so maybe she could be at rest. With one more tear falling off of his cheek, he ran away from the sight, never to be seen again.
