Critical Issues Commentary | A Review of Intercessory Prayer by Dutch Sheets, Part 21 - Dualism @CICministry | Uploaded December 2022 | Updated October 2024, 20 hours ago.
Dutch Sheets claims that the existence of evil shows that God is not in control of all things. Bob explains that this is a type of Manichean Dualism with competing forces of good and evil. Bob and Jessica examine the “all things” statements in Scripture to make it clear that God truly is in control of all things. While God’s moral will is always good, God’s providential will contains both good and evil. God’s providential will is that all things, both good and evil, work together for His glory as He saves His people through the work of the Son.
This is a critique of Intercessory Prayer by Dutch Sheets, Bethany House, 1996.
