Zach Brown, Director of the #InianIslands Institute, grew up in the small town of #Gustavus, Alaska. After completing his Ph.D. at Stanford University and studying the effects of #climatechange on ecosystems in the Arctic and Antarctic, he decided to return to Alaska and start a field school dedicated to educating the next generation of environmental leaders.
Filmed during the 2016 Environmental Rhetoric Course carried out in partnership with the University of Alaska Southeast.
