Can you really grow cotton with #regenerativeagriculture? John Kempf and AEA grower James Johnson share actionable steps on how to be successful with regenerative cotton production.
John Kempf, AEA Founder and host of the Regenerative Agriculture Podcast details the fundamentals of cotton nutrition management, and how these translate into AEA’s cotton recommendations; how to reduce/manage nitrogen, how to reduce PGR’s, and reduce the need for pesticides. What products are used in different applications, and why they are included
James Johnson will share his successes since partnering with AEA on his operation and transition from conventional to regenerative agriculture. James is a 4th generation cotton farmer in New Mexico and vice president of Carzalia Valley Produce. In 1999 James took on the task of implementing subsurface drip irrigation on the farm to protect the desert's most precious resource of water.
