Accompanying message from Chris Check, President of Catholic Answers:
My Friends,
As Election Day approaches so many of us are feeling distress about the state of our nation. I know I am, and yet I also know that any anxiety I feel is not from God. Our Lord was explicit when he said, "My peace I give to you."
On days when I feel the temptation to unravel, I do two things: I have a sit down with the Blessed Sacrament in the quiet little chapel at Catholic Answers headquarters, and I have a sit down with my brother Cy Kellett.
There are so many great things I can say about Cy, but one of them is that he takes the long view, which often means looking way back. He does that here in this brief video I asked him to make for you. I know it will bring you peace in these troubled times. And you will get a dose of Cy Kellett therapy, without which the president of Catholic Answers would have gone off the rails long ago!
Pax et Bonum,
Chris Check
