This reenactment of the Skirmish at Prairie D'Ane, Arkansas took place at the site of the Prairie D'Ane battleground in Prescott, AR on November 1, 2025. The real Civil War battle was part of the Red River Campaign in which Confederate troops tried to stop a Union advance in south western Arkansas and that took place from April 9 to April 13 in 1864. Principal commanders were Major General Sterling Price (CS) and Major General Frederick Steel (US), who's troops won the skirmish.
This program premiered on the Public Access Television Channel at the PEGASYS Community Media Center in Ithaca, NY as part of the series Over the Shoulder.
