For all those of us who would like to keep a book journal but are intimidated by the journals we see out there: it doesn’t have to be fancy and with lots of stamps and photos. It doesn’t have to be a summary of the book and a literary discussion. It totally can be, but it’s not a requirement. We decide what our book journal looks like and that is determined by how much time we want to (and realistically can) invest into this project.
This is my book journal: it’s passport size, I document the author, the title, the format, where I got the recommendation from, and one sentence about the reading experience. That’s it.
