It’s rare to find a Pallas’s cat litter this large, which made the moment especially exciting for wildlife photographer, Amit Eshel.

He spent a week in his hide on Mongolia’s Eastern Steppe, patiently waiting. When the kittens emerged from the safety of the den at dawn and dusk, he was able to photograph them.
