At @CES 2026, ZF unveiled a world-first innovation: Active Noise Reduction – a software-based function for the chassis that significantly reduces in-vehicle tire noise without additional damping hardware.

This breakthrough leverages ZF’s Smart Chassis Sensor and cubiX software to analyze vibration data and counteract tire cavity noise through micro-adjustments in semi-active dampers.
The result? A quieter, more comfortable ride – and a major step toward the software-defined vehicle.
