At Caravan Salon Düsseldorf we take a quick look at two lightweight caravans from Kip of the Netherlands: The Kompakt Adventure, and the Shelter Plus.
Kip Caravans are iconic. Their pop-top roofs make them ever more attractive to the growing numbers of caravanners looking to improve their fuel consumption, and they're also ideal to tow with many EVs. A long A-frame aids towing stability and can be mounted with a bike rack. The Kip Kompakt Adventure features a neat collapsable washroom that makes for more workspace in the kitchen when you need it. The Shelter Plus has an MIRO of just 620kg and a neat kitchen that you can use outside, and a door at the rear to make loading cycles easy. It also features a flexible dinette arrangement that can be two sofas, two single beds, a double bed and two single seats, or a huge double bed.
