Crow seems like an appropriate bird for the haunting month don't you think? I've been listening to too many ghost stories recently!

Coloured pencils - I used a mix but the Faber-Castell Polychromos are a great all-rounder especially if you are just starting out. As long as they are not too expensive and easy for you to source in your area. I am also loving the Derwent Lightfast at the moment too.
