Hey guys! In today’s video, I decided to talk about the recent drama in relation to the mielle hair growth oil. Mielle is a company that is marketed towards people who have curly, as well as coily hair, so win a popular TikTok influencer who is white with straight hair, decides to promote this product. It goes viral, and it is sold out in stores across the United States. This in a way has taken the product meant for Black people mostly and has instead become a trend and now Black people are being priced out of the products that are meant for them in the first place. In the general video I take this instance, and I apply it to the issues that we face in terms of hair discrimination, and how it affects Black women in the United States.
