This project involves a 411 kilometre long high speed rail line from the cities of Helsinki in Finland and St Petersburg in Russia. Trains will travel at a maximum speed of 400 km/h, mainliny between Lahti and Levashovo stations. This allows commuters to travel from St Petersburg and Helsinki in 90 minutes. This will increase passenger movements between the two cities and allow commuters to travel to the two cities for work. The problems I did forget to mention were the issues between the two countries. The stations listed in this line are:
HELSINKI CENTRAL
TIKKURILA
Kerava
Haarajoki
Mantsala
LAHTI
Kouvola
(Finnish/Russian border)
Vyborg
Roshchino
Levashovo
ST PETERSBURG-FINLYANDSKY
Note that stations locked in all caps mean than the stations are served by superexpress high speed trains
