The talented artist of the stillframe is called Miguel Membreño. When painting this he was heavily inspired by the game "The Last of Us", which he greatly managed to show through the atmosphere and world he made and which also was one of my huge inspirations, when composing the music, together with the aesthetics from the game-series "Fallout", so I thought it really fits the soundtrack and so I tried to bring those two things together.

The Lake Theme has always seemed to me like the hardest and most difficult to remix. Not only because of its composition and unusual timechanges, but also because for me it is the most emotional music of all tracks in the Gen 4 games. Therefore I had great respect for making something new out of it.
Throughout the production process I got to know it more and more and once again saw the genius behind the whole Generation 4 soundtrack.
For this track I worked together with Manuel Emrich, a very good friend of mine. We recorded his acoustic drums and some additional samples, which you can hear in the song.
