For National Poetry Month, I wanted to dive into a subset of writing that I'd never really tried before! I wanted to try for the experience I would gain, but I also have a character in my fantasy novel who is supposed to be a poet and is NOT helped by my inexperience! Luckily, I've got friends in high places (@ShayWithThaHobbies) and the lovely internet to help me solve that problem. Follow me through my nearly month-long journey of studying, reading, and finally writing poetry of my own! (and for those of you who make it that far, there *may* be a poem hiding at the very end of the video...)
