Lone Star Le Mans was already a story worth telling. Austin poet Helyn Rain gives it a voice, bringing six hours of heat, pressure and close racing at COTA together with the weekend’s most powerful moments from Round 5 of the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship.

André Lotterer, Pipo Derani and Mathys Jaubert fought back from an early incident and penalty to finish seventh in the #17 GMR-001, securing Genesis Magma Racing’s best FIA WEC result yet. Dani Juncadella, Mathieu Jaminet and Paul-Loup Chatin brought the #19 home on the lead lap, as both Genesis Hypercars completed the race without a technical issue.
